Two weeks vacation with <a href=\"http:\/\/psasidhar.livejournal.com\/\" class=\"lj-user\">psasidhar<\/a> with (hopefully ) lots of places to visit. I am going there after a year, no doubt everything will be the same &#8211; bad roads, misty mornings, evil relatives, oranges, my room&#8230;.<\/p>\n<p>Last night there was a distinct chill in the air as I was coming back from <i>Main Madhuri Dixit Banna Chahti Hoon<\/i> ( which, incidentally is  a fantastic movie ), and it made me <i>so<\/i> happy &#8211; it&#8217;s winter again! My favourite season! <\/p>\n<p>Once upon a time, I would get really psyched up when October ended, because that meant the Guwahati Book Fair was near. The book fair would be held at around the end of December &#8211; the usual date was Dec 29, and it continued for about ten to twelve days.<\/p>\n<p>What I am gung-ho about:-<br \/>\n1. home-made food ( which I will get bored of in two days)<br \/>\n2. meeting some cousins and old friends ( subz3r0, you there?) ( again, I will get chaatofied and I <i>know<\/i> I will end up spending most of my time at home )<br \/>\n3. Diwali with my parents. (hmmm&#8230;..no fireworks, of course. I am a Target brat. )<br \/>\n4. My room. I am saying this twice. My room. Hee hee hee ho ho ha ha.<br \/>\n5. Shillong. Which I think I can convince my father to allow us to go on a bike. ( In case you didn&#8217;t know, I have the set of the most protective parents in the whole freakin&#8217; world, to whom the combination of &#8220;senior&#8221; and &#8220;motorcycle&#8221; spells &#8220;doom&#8221; )<br \/>\n6. Oranges.  Lots of oranges. ( Matrix-like sequence of looooooong shelves whizzing past me, filled to the brim with juicy oranges. Ooh. I am horny. Kind of. )<\/p>\n<p>Wheeee.
